Finally the day arrives, the package gets delivered to the front door early in the morning, you bust open the boxes, your Handy Dandy Carpet Cleaning Machine is all put together. There is another box of all the cleaning solutions. You read the instructions carefully. Load the machine with the recommended cleaning solution. Fill it with water, close the lid. Turn the Handy Dandy Carpet Cleaning Machine on. Away we go, seems to be easy at the beginning, finally getting the hang of it, The carpets are damp, the vacuum is working fine, The vacuum tank is filling up with dirty water. Made about 12 passes. It’s time to empty the vacuum dirty water tank, and refill with cleaning solution and water. Okay, no problem…begin cleaning again, 12 more short passes and repeat the process. Look around and realize this is a big room, it’s not coming out as clean as I thought. It’s time to go over it again, here I am (4 hours later) still in the same room. At this rate you finally realize, “I’ll be cleaning carpets in this house for the next 4 days. Maybe this was not such a great idea after all.
